Shoe Box Appeal – Blythswood Care – Extended for Another week until Sun 8th Nov 2020

If you would like to participate then please fill an average shoe box, place it in a bag and pass it to Heather Speirs at the Abbey Church Hall car park after the morning service.

Crossreach Christmas Cards – A different way of ordering this year

It has been decided this year that instead of ordering the Crossreach Christmas Cards and Calendar’s through the church that everyone could order their own directly from the CROSSREACH website. As always there is a great selection and we hope you will continue to support them. If you require any help, Janey Grier is happy to assist.

The Church of Scotland has joined with other religious groups across the country to sign a letter commending the Call for a National Day of Prayer in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Signatories include the Roman Catholic Church, the Church of Scotland, the Scottish Episcopal Church, the United Free Church, the United Reformed Church, the Baptist Union of Scotland, the Methodist Church, the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), Congregational Federation in Scotland, the Salvation Army, the Church of the Nazarene, and Redeemed Christian Church of God.

Taking place on Sunday 22 March, people of faith are being encouraged to light a candle and place it in their window at 7pm.*

Due to the ongoing issues with the coronavirus please note that the Church of Scotland has taken the decision to cancel all church services for the foreseeable future. This means that our worship service at Kilwinning Abbey Church will not take place until further notice.
